摘要：El presente trabajo comunica los resultados del proceso investigativo relativo a la gestión de los impactos de nuevos desarrollos turísticos, basado en el caso de estudio de Cayo Santa María, perteneciente al Archipiélago Jardines del Rey, al note de Cuba Central. Asume como posición estratégica el estudio integrado de la situación ambiental con y sin proyecto turístico, como premisa para diseñar el plan de manejo de impactos potenciales. Los resultados obtenidos sirvieron de base al proceso de toma de decisiones relativas a la formación del nuevo destino turístico, a la vez que han constituido la línea base para el seguimiento de los impactos del turismo en fase de funcionamiento de la nueva planta turística.
其他摘要：This paper presents the results of the research process relative to the management of impacts of new tourist developments, based on the case of study of Santa María Key, belonging to “Archipiélago Jardines del Rey”, at the Central part of Cuba . It assumes as strategic position the integrated study of the environmental situation with project and without tourist project, as premise to design a plan of handling of potential impacts. The obtained results served as a base of the making decision process related to formation of the new tourist destination, at the same time they have constituted the base line for the management of the impacts of tourism on phase of operation of the new tourist development.
