摘要：El presente artículo forma parte de una investigación bibliohemerográfica realizada sobre las contribuciones de los estudios de género a la psicología de la personalidad (Vielma, 1999). Se vinculan teóricamente, tres aspectos: Bienestar psicológico, bienestar social, salud mental y género; dentro de una concepción humanística y psicodinámica de la salud mental. Se hace una breve referencia, al trabajo realizado por algunos investigadores latinoamericanos desde el punto de vista de sus reflexiones, enmarcadas dentro de diversos enfoques y tendencias teóricas o elaboradas a partir de sus impresiones personales y autoreferencialidad. Entre ellos se encuentran: Barrios (1999), Cabral y García (1999), Matheo (1998), Michelena (1998), Thomas (1997), Ravelo (1996), Montesinos (1995), Velásquez (1995), Lamas (1995), Lander (1994) y Fernández (1994). Se formulan algunas interrogantes y se presentan como propuestas: Repensar, profundizar, debatir y desmitificar las representaciones sociales y visión tradicional, convencionalmente aprendidas e introyectadas sobre el género.
其他摘要：The present work forms part of library research on gender studies and psychology of the personality (Vielma, 1999). Within a psychodynamic humanist conception of mental health lie three related aspects: psychological well being, social well being, and gender adaptation. Brief reference is made to Latin American works from foci and theoretical tendencies derived from personal opinions and individual experience. Among the works we find: Barrios (1999), Cabral y García (1999), Matheo (1998), Michelena (1998), Thomas (1997), Ravelo (1996), Montesinos (1995), Velásquez (1995), Lamas (1995), Lander (1994) and Fernández (1994). Questions and answers develop from re-thinking, from psychological deepening, debate, and the demystification of social roles and traditional views upheld by convention and projected upon gender consciousness.
