摘要：El nororiente neogranadino vivió en el último siglo de dominio indiano, una dinámica social y demográfica marcada por la disminución del elemento indígena y el intenso mestizaje. Los blancos nobles defendieron sus derechos y privilegios ante la amenaza del creciente número de mestizos. Esto creó un ambiente de marcada segregación social y étnica, reflejada en innumerables probanzas y litigios. Al final, el progreso económico del grupo mestizo y su proceso de blanqueamiento fue resquebrajando paulatinamente las bases de la sociedad tradicional cifrada en el linaje y los abolengos. De esta manera, se ampliaron las posibilidades de ascenso social y se creó el espacio propicio para la eliminación del sistema de castas en la naciente República.
其他摘要：The northeast of the New Kingdom of Grenade lived in the last century of the colonial period a social and demographic dynamics marked by the decrease of the indigenous element and the intense miscegenation. The noble white persons defended their rights and privileges in reaction to the threat of the growing number of mestizos. This raised an atmosphere of marked social and ethnic segregation reflected in countless proofs and litigations. At the end, the economic progress of the mestizo group was cracking the bases of the traditional society calculated in the lineage and the ancestries gradually. This way, the possibilities of social ascent increased and this originated the favorable space for the elimination of the system of chaste in the nascent Republic.
