摘要：En la memoria colectiva prevalece el recuerdo de las declaraciones de independencia del Zulia interpretadas como pretensiones separatistas que amenazaban al Estado y la integridad territorial de la nación venezolana. Intimidaciones que adquieren otras dimensiones por el anexionismo entre los estados andinos y el Zulia para fortalecer un territorio considerado marginado o amenazado por el centralismo. Esta anexión constituía la expansión del localcentralismo de Maracaibo en amenaza a los otros intereses de la nueva jurisdicción. En repuesta el Estado central impone otro tipo de integración orientada a desarticular la red de relaciones de poder establecidas entre grupos dominantes del occidente de Venezuela. En este juego de intereses se anuncian otras propuestas desde Colombia para formar una nueva república independiente en la región fronteriza. Explicar estas manifestaciones en las distintas coyunturas históricas como parte del juego de fuerzas políticas en la configuración de la nación venezolana amplía el estudio de la participación de los intereses regionales en el esfuerzo de consolidar el Estado nacional. En este esfuerzo se asociaron desde inicios de la república las antiguas provincias que a lo largo del siglo XIX se representaban como Estados constituidos interesados en conservar el territorio.
其他摘要：In the collective memory prevails the memory of the declarations of independence of Zulia, interpreted as separatist pretensions that menaced the State and the territorial integrity of the Venezuelan nation. Intimidations that acquire other dimensions for the annexation between the Andean States and Zulia to strengthen a territory considered marginal or threatened by centralism. This annexation constituted the expansion of the local-centralism of Maracaibo menacing other interests of the new jurisdiction. In response the central State imposes another type of integration orientated to dismantling the network of power relations established between dominant groups western Venezuela. In this game of interests other offers are being declared from Colombia to form a new independent republic in the frontier region. Explaining these manifestations in the different historical conjunctures as part of the game of political forces in the configuration of the Venezuelan nation extends the study of the participation of the regional interests in the effort to consolidate the national State. In this effort were associated from beginnings of the republic, the old provinces that throughout the XIXth century were represented as constituted states interested in preserving the territory.
