摘要：Fundamento: durante los primeros años del siglo XX Arthur T. Legg, Jacques Calvé y George Perthes describen y publican de forma simultánea las características de la coxa plana y la diferencian de la coxalgia, apuntan de manera específica hacia las particularidades que aparecen en el núcleo de osificación de la cabeza femoral. Objetivo: caracterizar el método anestésico obstétrico en la paciente con secuelas de la enfermedad de LeggCalvéPerthes Caso Clínico: paciente femenina de 22 años, con antecedentes de enfermedad de LeggCalvéPerthes desde los cinco años con tratamiento conservador que abandonó desde los 12 años. Es anunciada de urgencia, para realizar cesárea segmentaría arciforme, por mala posición fetal y ruptura prematura de membrana.

Legg, Jacques Calvé and George Perthes described and published simultaneously the characteristics of coxa plana and how it differed from coxalgia. They pointed out specifically towards the particularities that appear in the nucleus of ossification of the head of femur. Objective: to characterize the obstetricanesthetic method in a patient with sequelae of LeggCalvéPerthes disease. Clinical ca se: a twentytwo yearold female patient with a medical history of LeggCalvéPerthes disease since she was five years old with a conservative treatment that she abandoned at the age of 12. She was admitted to the emergency room for performing an arciform segmental cesarean section because of fetal malposition and premature rupture of the membrane.
