摘要：Fundamento: la prehipertensión constituye un importante factor de riesgo, por lo que su estratificación y evaluación precoz es un elemento clave. La prueba de peso sostenido puede contribuir a tales objetivos. Objetivo: evaluar la estratificación del riesgo cardiovascular en prehipertensos atendidos en consulta especializada, del Hospital Universitario Manuel Ascunce, de Camagüey, durante el año 2010. Método: se realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal. El universo estuvo conformado por los 167 pacientes que acudieron a la consulta. La muestra quedó constituida por los 53 pacientes que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Se diseñó un formulario que incluyó las variables necesarias para llevar a cabo la investigación: factores de riesgo cardiovascular, riesgo cardiovascular estratificado, respuesta clínica y respuesta hipertensiva a la prueba de peso sostenido; el formulario constituyó el registro primario de la investigación. Resultados: hubo asociación de factores de riesgo cardiovascular y más de la mitad de los pacientes presentó un riesgo cardiovascular intermedio. Más de la mitad de los pacientes tuvo una respuesta hipertensiva postprueba. Cobró mayor severidad en la respuesta clínica postprueba a medida que se incrementó el riesgo cardiovascular. Conclusiones: la prueba de peso sostenido es útil en la estratificación del riesgo cardiovascular.
其他摘要：Background: pre-hypertension is an important risk factor; that is why its stratification and early evaluation is a key element. The sustained-weight test can contribute to such objectives. Objective: to evaluate the stratification of cardiovascular risk in pre-hypertensive patients attended at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech University Hospital of Camaguey during 2010. Method: a cross-sectional, descriptive study was conducted. The universe was composed of 167 patients that came to consultation. The sample included 53 patients that fulfilled the inclusion criterion. A form that included the necessary variables to conduct the investigation was designed. The variables were the following: cardiovascular risk factors, stratified cardiovascular risk, and clinical and hypertensive responses to the sustained-weigh test. The form constituted the primary record of the investigation. Results: there was an association of cardiovascular risk factors and more than the half of the patients presented an intermediate cardiovascular risk. More than the half of the patients presented a hypertensive response after been applied the test. It became more serious the clinical response after test as the cardiovascular risk increased. Conclusions: the sustained-weight test was useful for the stratification of cardiovascular risk.
