摘要：Neste artigo, fazemos uma revisão teórica sobre a gratidão. Iniciamos mostrando sua função, segundo a visão de autores de diferentes áreas de conhecimento. A gratidão teria importante papel no equilíbrio e na coesão social. Em seguida, abordamos a gratidão na Psicologia. Nesta seção, discorremos sobre resultados de pesquisas e teorizações sobre a gratidão, apontando para a hipótese de que ela se desenvolve ao longo da infância. Finalizamos salientando a necessidade de estudos sobre a gratidão em crianças, para que se compreenda melhor esse fenômeno e, se possível, se estimule esse sentimento, visto que concorre para o bem-estar das pessoas.
其他摘要：In this article, we make a theoretical review of gratitude. We start by presenting its social function in the view of authors from different fields. Gratitude might play an important role in social equilibrium and cohesion. Then, we approach gratitude in Psychology. In this section, we present research results and theorizing about gratitude, stressing the hypothesis that gratitude develops through childhood. We conclude by drawing attention to the necessity of studies about gratitude in children, to better understand this phenomenon and, if possible, stimulate it, given that it contributes to individual wellbeing.
