摘要：A criança subverte a condição que veio ao mundo ascendendo à posição bípede e cai sob o logos da razão pela transformação decorrente do aperfeiçoamento da visão e pela incidência do recalque nas formas primordiais de comunicação: o olfato e o reconhecimento da voz materna. Essa nova aparelhagem engaja a criança em uma atividade investigativa acerca do sexo: a curiosidade sexual da infância transforma-se em vontade de saber, percurso mediado pelo desejo. O saber é mistério a s er desvendado, na trajetória pela qual o sujeito escreve a sua história. Tarefa acionada pelo desejo concorre para a constituição da subjetividade ante o encontro com a falta captada no Outro.
