摘要：El propósito del trabajo es explorar la influencia que ha tenido la política científica del Estado venezolano en la Universidad del Zulia. La metodología utilizada consistió en la revisión normativa y documental. Los resultados que ha tenido la citada política se evidencian fundamentalmente, en el incremento de la productividad científica y del número de investigadores, formación de recursos humanos y apoyo a la difusión del conocimiento generado para lo cual se ha contado con el apoyo del Consejo de Desarrollo Científico y Humanístico de la Universidad del Zulia (CONDES). Se concluye que este incremento se ha visto favorecido por las políticas de estímulo a la investigación desde el Estado venezolano y la toma de conciencia de los académicos respecto a los beneficios individuales e institucionales, prestigio y reconocimiento que reciben. En lo que se refiere al uso del conocimiento producido los avances son pocos por la imprecisión de mecanismos que permitan establecer vinculaciones entre las universidades y el sector externo.
其他摘要：The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the Venezuelan scientific policy in the University of Zulia (LUZ). The methodology used during this investigation comprises the review of the current regulations and documentation. The results of such policies are reflected by the increment on the scientific productivity and the number of researchers. In addition, these policies have helped on the improvement of human resources and the distribution of the knowledge generated with the support of the Board of Scientific and Humanistic Development of the University of Zulia (CONDES). Based on observations made during this study, it can be concluded that the increment in such scientific activities have been favored by the incentive of the State´s policy to promote research, and also to the increment in awareness of the faculty members with regard to the individual and institutional benefits gained by the scientific activities. However, the application of these new scientific products is limited because of the lack of connection between the universities and the external sector.
