摘要：Este trabajo presenta una síntesis de la metodología utilizada al investigar la historia con una perspectiva positivista. Indica que el esfuerzo que haga el historiador por emular de manera rigurosa al método científico, es un esfuerzo infructuoso que se justifica en una cosmovisión mecanicista, la cual tuvo su origen a partir del siglo XVII y que ha perdido vigencia en los últimos años para dar paso a una cosmovisión sistémica que no sólo requiere el replanteamiento de la metodología de la ciencia en general, sino de la historia en particular. La subjetividad y la interpretación que fueron inevitables en la metodología de la investigación histórica parecen tener algo que aportar a la búsqueda de nuevas formas para abordar los problemas de la metodología científica del siglo XXI.
其他摘要：This paper presents a synthesis of the methodology used when doing historical research from a positivist standpoint. It points out that the efforts of the historian to strictly imitate the scientific method is a fruitless effort which stems from the mechanistic worldview of the 17th century. In the last few years, however, the influence of such worldview has waned to give way to a systemic worldview which requires not only a new posing of the methodology of science but specifically of history. Subjectivity and interpretation, unavoidable for methodology of historical research, seem to be of some relevance at the moment of searching for new ways of coping with the problems of scientific methodology in the 21st century.
