摘要：Con el objetivo de evaluar el uso de los probióticos Sorbial® en el comportamiento productivo y la salud de terneros en pastoreo, se desarrolló esta investigación en la EEPF "Indio Hatuey", durante un año (épocas lluviosa y poca lluviosa); se evaluaron dos tratamientos: A) concentrado comercial más 100 g de probiótico, y B) concentrado comercial (tratamiento control). Se analizó la composición bromatológica, el peso vivo, la ganancia media diaria (GMD), el conteo fecal de huevos (CFH) de nemátodos gastrointestinales y el perfil hematológico. Con el uso del probiótico no se apreciaron acciones negativas en la salud de los animales, ni enfermedades gastrointestinales (diarreas). El peso vivo mostró diferencias significativas (P<0,05) a favor de los animales del grupo experimental con respecto al control. De igual modo se constató un efecto significativo (P<0,05) durante la época lluviosa, en los animales que consumieron probióticos (758 g/animal/día). Por su parte, el CFH no mostró diferencias significativas; de forma similar se comportaron los indicadores hematológicos, entre los grupos, los cuales se encuentran entre los rangos permisibles para esta categoría de animales. Se recomienda profundizar sobre este tema en investigaciones futuras.
其他摘要：To evaluate the use of Sorbial® probiotics on the productive performance and health of grazing calves, this study was conducted at the EEPF "Indio Hatuey", during a year (rainy and dry seasons). Two treatments were evaluated: A) commercial concentrate plus 100 g of probiotic, and B) commercial concentrate (control treatment). The bromatological composition, live weight, mean daily gain (MDG), fecal egg count (FEC) of gastrointestinal nematodes and hematological profile were analyzed. With the use of probiotic neither negative actions on animal health, nor gastrointestinal diseases (diarrhea), were observed. The live weight showed significant differences (P<0,05), favoring the animals of the experimental group as compared to the control. Likewise, a significant effect (P<0,05) was observed during the rainy season in the animals that ate probiotics (758 g/ani-mal/day). On the other hand, the FEC did not show significant differences; the hematological indicators had a similar performance, between groups, being within the permissible ranges for this animal category. To study further this topic in future research is recommended.
