摘要：Si bien los sistemas silvopastoriles se iniciaron en Latinoamérica hace unas tres décadas, aun no se ha logrado la aceptación y difusión esperada en las diferentes áreas y/o regiones agroecológicas. Ello se debe a que existen un conjunto de factores que han incidido en que la utilización de los sistemas silvopastoriles en Latinoamérica no sea la esperada, a pesar de los múltiples bienes y servicios que ofrecen. Algunas de las causas principales que han limitado el desarrollo de las tecnologías en esta área son las siguientes: factores técnicos como germoplasma, problemas de plagas y enfermedades, información técnica relativa a producción y calidad, investigaciones no orientadas, períodos de espera para el establecimiento de los árboles en los potreros y falta de educación agroforestal. En el aspecto socioeconómico destacan: falta de extensión, financiamiento para las inversiones, semillas de calidad y mano de obra calificada. Desde el punto de vista sociocultural resaltan las tradiciones de los productores y la creencia de que el pasto escasea debajo de los árboles. Aunque la adopción de estos sistemas ha sido limitada, esto varía notablemente con la demostración a los productores de la persistencia y longevidad en condiciones de pastoreo y/o corte y acarreo, así como los beneficios múltiples en el orden económico, social y ecológico en el contexto del productor y sus sistemas de producción.
其他摘要：Although silvopastoral systems appeared in Latin America three decades ago, the expected acceptance and diffusion in the different agroecological areas and/or regions have not been achieved yet. That is because there are a group of factors that have influenced the fact that the utilization of silvopastoral systems in Latin America is not as expected, in spite of the many goods and services they offer. Some of the main causes that have limited the development of technologies in that field are the following: technical factors such as germplasm, problems of pests and diseases, technical information related to production and quality, non oriented studies, waiting periods for the establishment of the trees in the paddocks and lack of agroforestry training. In the soscio economic aspect the lack of extension work, funding for investments, high quality seeds and qualified labor stand out. From the sociocultural point of view the traditions of producers and the belief that pasture is scarce under trees are the main factors. Although the adoption of these systems has been limited, this varies remarkably with the demonstration to producers of the persistence and longevity under grazing and/or cut and carry conditions, as well as the multiple benefits in the economic, social and ecological aspects in the context of the producer and his production systems.
