摘要：Con el objetivo de reflexionar sobre las potencialidades de los sistemas silvopastoriles para la producción de leche en Cuba, se recopiló información sobre la introducción de los árboles en la ganadería, haciendo énfasis en sus antecedentes y en el contexto histórico que permitió el desarrollo del sistema. Además se emiten criterios sobre los resultados obtenidos y hacia dónde se deben encaminar las investigaciones futuras. Después de un análisis detallado sobre el tema, se concluye que con la introducción de los árboles en los sistemas ganaderos se obtienen producciones de leche entre 8 y 10 kg/vaca/día, que están avaladas por una política de utilización de bajos insumos, y los resultados son similares a los alcanzados con niveles medios de fertilización (150-300 kg de N/ha/año). Se hace necesario continuar el estudio de cómo optimizar la producción pecuaria en los sistemas agroforestales.
其他摘要：With the objective of reflecting about the potential of silvopastoral systems for milk production in Cuba, information was gathered about the introduction of trees in cattle rearing, making emphasis on its antecedents and the historical context that allowed the development of the system. In addition, criteria are expressed about the results obtained and the necessary aims of future studies. After a detailed analysis about the subject, it is concluded that with the introduction of trees in cattle rearing systems milk productions between 8 and 10 kg/cow/day are obtained, which are supported by a low input utilization policy, and the results are similar to the ones reached with medium levels of fertilization (150-300 kg N/ha/year). It is necessary to continue studying how to optimize cattle production in agroforestry systems.
