摘要：Antecedentes: La calidad de vida guarda una estrecha relación con la salud de las personas, por lo que destaca la importancia de profundizar en su conocimiento. Su acercamiento supone considerar factores asociados al contexto social, biológico, psicológico y espiritual del ser humano. El presente estudio pretende analizar la relación entre calidad de vida y salud general percibida de las personas hospitalizadas en una institución de Granada, España. Materiales y Métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio de tipo transversal descriptivo. Las personas fueron seleccionadas mediante un muestreo aleatorio estratificado. Se administró el Perfil de Salud de Nottingham (PSN), que evalúa las dimensiones deenergía, dolor, reacciones emocionales, sueño, aislamiento social y movilidad física. Luego de esto, se procedió a calcular un índice de salud general con la suma ponderada de las áreas antes mencionadas. Resultados: En el PSN se obtuvo una puntuación media de salud general de 46,44 (DE: 21,10; IC del 95%, 43,92-48,96). A nivel global hay un deterioro en las áreas que mide el PSN a medida que la salud de las personas hospitalizadas se compromete. Igualmente, existe un empeoramiento de la salud general, conforme se incrementa la edad. Asímismo, las mujeres presentaron un mayor deterioro en la salud general que los hombres (p = 0.000). Conclusión: Es pertinente priorizar la incorporación de programas salubristas que diseñen intervenciones para las personas que se encuentran en escenarios hospitalarios. Asimismo, se hace necesario incluir terapias anti-álgicas para aumentar la calidad de vida en esta población.
其他摘要：Backgrounds: Nowadays, a person¿s health and their quality of life are tightly linked. Therefore, it is important to study in depth such connection by taking into account those factors associated to the social, biological, psychological and spiritual context of the human being. Due to the increasing interest in the study of the quality of life of people, its relation with the general health of those hospitalized in an institution in Granada, Spain, was analyzed. Materials and Methods: The study was a quantitative, transversal and descriptive. Sample subjects were selected from a stratified aleatory sample of patients in an institution in Granada, Spain. The Nottingham Health Profile (NHP), which evaluates the energy, pain, emotional reaction, sleep, social isolation and physical mobility of the patient, was administered to each patient. Once administered the profile, using the average value, a general health profile index of the previously mentioned areas was calculated. Results: A mean score of 46.44 in general health (SD: 21.10; CI OF 95%: 43.92-48.96) was obtained from the NHP. It can be observed that as a hospitalized person¿s health gets compromised, an overall decline can be observed in the areas measured by the NHP. Likewise, there is a tendency of a decline in a hospitalized person¿s health as their age increments. Also, when compared to men, women presented a greater decline in their general health (p = 0.000). Conclusion: It is pertinent to incorporate relevant variables to the intervention therapies of hospitalized persons. Likewise, it is important to include in their treatment plans, pain management therapies in order to improve this population¿s quality of life.
