摘要：Si bien Humboldt describe los Pisos de Vegetación que encontró en el valle de La Orotava, dando origen a su teoría de la geobotánica; hizo observaciones del estrato volcánico del complejo Pico Viejo-Teide, aunque no de la erupción de Chahorra, llamada Narices del Teide, en el año 1798, dando origen al abandono del concepto neptuniano del globo terrestre para abrazar la tesis platinista, midió los aires del Teide y describió la violeta del Teide, que descubrió 75 años atrás el naturalista francés Louis Feuillé (1724); aspectos todos bien tratados por los estudiosos de la obra humboldtiana, no menos importante fueron las referencias sociales y etnográficos, pero lamentablemente olvidadas a la hora de acercarse a la visita de Humboldt a las Canarias, y que, sin embargo, forman parte importante de su legado analítico.
其他摘要：Although Humboldt describes his observations of the various strata of vegetation he found in the Valley of Oratava, which led to his theories of geobotany: he comments on the volcanic layers in the pico viejo teide area though not those of the eruption of Chahorra, called the Nostrils of Teide in 1798; this led to the abandonment of the neptune concept of the earth and gave way to the pluto thesis. He also studied the atmosphere of the Teide and described the Teide violet which the naturalist Louis Feuillé discovered in 1724. All these themes are well studied in the works about Humboldt. However no less important were the references to the social and human details, sadly Humboldt did not record these at the time of his visit to Tenerife, although in other regions they are an important part of his analitical analysis.
