摘要：Este artículo analiza la aparición del concepto de Historia atlántica y su aplicación pionera al caso de la monarquía española de la Edad Moderna, global y múltiple. También desarrolla su consolidación a través de la implantación urbana y su originalidad constitucional.
其他摘要：The article points out the formation of the concept of «Atlantic History» and the historiographical implication of the concept for the Spanish Monarchy in the Early Modern period. It remarks the importance of the city in the political constitution and its role in the consolidation of the American frontier as well.
