摘要：Uma pesquisa sobre a representação social dos estudos foi realizada para explorar o potencialefeito das modalidades de resposta propostas dentro de um questionário de mise en cause. Dois questionários que faziam variar a quantidade de modalidades de resposta com a presença de uma resposta mediana foram propostos a 251 estudantes de 2º grau. Os resultados apontam para o impacto importante das modalidades de resposta sobre as estruturas obtidas. Em um caso (4 modalidades de resposta) a representação se compôs por três elementos centrais; no outro caso (5 modalidades de resposta) ela se compôs somente de 1. Estes resultados confirmam as pesquisas anteriores sobre o efeito de respostas medianas nos questionários de mise en cause sobre a quantidade de elementos centrais de uma representação. Este tipo de pesquisa contribui a reflexão sobre os métodos utilizados dentro do campo de estudos das representações sociais, mas pode também alimentar questões epistemológicas vinculadas aos métodos.
其他摘要：A research relating to the social representation of the studies was carried out in order to explore the potential effect of the answers modalities in a calling into question questionnaire. Two questionnaires varying by the number of response and the presence of a midpoint were proposed to 251 young highschool pupils. The results underline the important impact of the answers modalities on the structures obtained. In one case (4 answers) the representation includes three central elements; in the other (5 answers), it contains only one of them. These results confirm those of former research concerning the impact of the midpoint in the calling into question method by reduction of the number of central elements of the representation. This type of research contributes to thinking about the methods used within the framework of the study of the social representations, but also to feed the epistemological stakes subjacent to these methods.
