摘要：O presente estudo teve por objetivos: (a) comparar/correlacionar indicadores do repertório de habilidades sociais e do envolvimento dos pais na educação dos filhos e (b) comparar mães e pais nos dois conjuntos de medidas. Participaram deste estudo 22 mães e 13 pais que tinham um filho na 1ªsérie. Ambos os pais preencheram o questionário Qualidade da Interação Familiarna Visão dos Pais e o Inventário deHabilidades Sociais (IHS-Del-Prette). A análise dos dados indicou que não houve diferença na intensidade do envolvimento de mães e pais com os filhos e que os cônjuges com maior repertório de habilidades sociais apresentaram maior envolvimento na educação dos filhos. Tais resultados são tomados como sugestivos da importância do repertório de habilidades sociais educativas dos pais para maximizar o desenvolvimento infantil e da necessidade de programas nessa área junto aos pais, visando melhorar a qualidade de seu relacionamento com os filhos.
其他摘要：The present study aimed at: (a) comparing/correlating indices of social skills repertoire and parents involvement in the upbringing of their children and (b) comparing fathers and mothers in the two set of indices. The sample was composed of 22 mothers and 13 fathers who had children in the 1st grade at primary school. Both parents filled in the questionnaires Quality of Family Interaction from the Parents Perspective and the Social Skill Inventory (HIS- Del Prette). Data analysis showed no difference in involvement intensity of both parents with their children. Parents with better social skills repertoire were more involved in their children's upbringing. Such results suggest that the parents' social educative skills repertoire is very important in order to maximize the child development and also points to the need of wider programs in this area involving parents and aiming at improving the quality of the relationship with their children.
