摘要：El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar las relaciones entre los estilos parentales y la sintomatología depresiva en 372 adolescentes de ambos sexos de 12 a 18 años de edad. Para la evaluación de los estilos parentales se utilizó una adaptación de la Escala de Estilos Parentales, y la CES-D para medir la sintomatología depresiva. La consistencia interna de ambos instrumentos fue aceptable y los resultados muestran que existe una mayor sintomatología depresiva en las mujeres y que en ellas el estilo autoritario del padre y de la madre se asocia con los niveles más altos de sintomatología depresiva.
其他摘要：The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between parenting styles and depressive symptomatolgy in 372 adolescents of 12 to 18 years old of both sexes. For the evaluation of the parenting styles an adaptation of the Scale of Parenting Styles and the CES-D to measure the depressive symptomatology were used. Results show that the internal consistency of both instruments was acceptable, and that there exists a greater depressive symptomatolgy in women; the authoritarian style of the father and the mother was also associated with the highest levels of depressive symptomatolgy in women.
