摘要：El presente artículo propone retomar la perspectiva del concepto de institución, de Cornelius Castoriadis, para comprender y elucidar el circuito de la migración hacia Estados Unidos. Esta concepción se revela sumamente fructífera para evitar la reducción de la comprensión del fenómeno migratorio a una esfera estrictamente económica. Al contrario, una multiplicidad de testimonios, de los cuales se recogen algunos, muestra que el fenómeno migratorio es rico en su producción imaginaria, llena de símbolos, y constituye en sí mismo una red simbólica. Así, es patente cómo en este fenómeno se establece una confrontación ética, una prueba que remite a la catadura ética y humana del migrante, un sacrificio cuyo costo es espiritual. Cabe añadir que es en este sentido que va creando una cultura y generando en las comunidades expulsoras ciertas tradiciones y pedagogías.
其他摘要：The aim of this article is to retake the Castoriadis's perspective in relation to the concept of institution in order to understand and to elucidate the labor migration circle toward the United States. This perception reveals itself highly fruitful to reduce the understanding of the migration phenomenon in a strictly economic event. On the contrary, multiple testimonies show that the migration phenomenon is extremely rich in its imaginary production; it is full of symbols, and constitutes asymbolic net. Thus, it is patent how, in this pehnomenon, an ethic confrontation emerges, evidence that refers to the ethic and human tastes of the migrant, a sacrifice that has a spiritual cost. It is in this sense that communities create a culture and generate traditions and pedagogies.
