摘要：Este trabajo analiza los determinantes del crecimiento económico para una muestra de 95 países en el periodo 1960-1998. La hipótesis es que tales determinantes cambian entre países con diferente grado de desarrollo. De hecho, encontramos que los resultados para la muestra global son compatibles con la literatura previa: la tasa de inversión, el crecimiento de la población, el PBI inicial y el capital humano afectan el crecimiento. Sin embargo, estos resultados son diferentes para países de ingreso bajo, medio y alto. En particular, la tasa de inversión es solo signifi cativa en los países de ingreso bajo, y los resultados para las otras variables explicativas son sensibles a la muestra y al método de estimación utilizados.
其他摘要：This paper analyses the determinants of economic growth for a sample of 95 countries in the 1960- 1998 period. The hypothesis is that such determinants change among countries with different degree of development. In fact, we found that the results for the global sample agree with previous fi ndings: investment rate, population growth rate, initial GDP and human capital affect economic growth. However, these results are different for countries of low, middle and high level of income. In particular, the investment rate is only signifi cant in the sample of low income countries, and the results for the other explanatory variables are sensible to the sample and the method of estimation.
