摘要：Considerado um dos grandes pintores do final do medievo, Hieronymus Bosch retratou importantes aspectos do imaginário do período entre os séculos XV e XVI. Nesse contexto interessa-nos identificar as permanências da mentalidade medieval no seu tríptico a óleo "O Jardim das Delícias Terrenas”, visto que muitos dos elementos existentes nessa obra baseiam-se em pinturas, textos literários e eclesiásticos conhecidos por seus contemporâneos, acrescidos de simbologias próprias. Utilizamos como metodologia a pesquisa bibliográfica e a análise de imagem. Assim, objetivamos compreender as relações entre as descrições e as representações de paraíso e inferno e sua presença nessa obra de Bosch.
其他摘要：Regarded as one the great painters of the late middle ages, Hieronymus Bosch portrayed important aspects of the imaginary of the period between the 15th and 16 th centuries. In this context, our interest is to identify the permanence of the medieval mentality in his oil triptych "The Garden of Earthly Delights", as many of the elements in that work are based on paintings, literary and ecclesiastic texts known by his contemporaries, with additional personal symbols. The methodologies used were bibliography research and image analysis. Thus, we aimed to comprehend the relationships between the descriptions and representations of Heaven and Hell and their presence in this work by Bosch.
