摘要：Objetiva-se demonstrar que Nina Rodrigues, na Bahia do século XIX, ao tornar as religiões africanas objeto de ciência e buscar formas conceituais para referenciá-las, as representou a partir de um referencial cristão: o monoteísmo católico. Partindo da História Cultural, argumenta-se que as observações, interpretações e conclusões de Nina Rodrigues para pensar religião não poderiam sustentar como insignificante a diferença entre os quadros de referência em função dos quais uma sociedade organiza as ações e os pensamentos. Embora parta da ciência e do Estado laico, não consegueapagar de sua “visão de mundo” todo um aparato católico de formação.
其他摘要：Current research demonstrates that Nina Rodrigues investigated African religions in 19th century Bahia through a Christian reference, or rather, by the parameters of Catholic monotheism, even though he transformed them into scientific objects and tried to find concepts to reference them. It may be argued that, from the point of view of Cultural History, the ideas, interpretations and conclusions that Nina Rodrigues used to reflect on religion would not withstand as insignificant the difference between frameworks by which society organizes its activities and thoughts. Although Rodrigues ́s ideas are foregrounded on science and the secular state, he is not capable of erasing the formative Catholic apparatus from his world view.
