摘要：Os dilemas da juventude na atualidade se apresentam não somente de forma inédita e desafiante, mas seconstituem como um complexo e grave problema de crise do trabalho juvenil no Brasil. Este estudo foi realizado comjovens do Ensino Médio em um município litorâneo do interior de Santa Catarina. As estratégias utilizadas pelosjovens na relação “trabalho, educação e família”, numa nova ética do trabalho na sociedade contemporânea, seconstituiu na problemática central. A pesquisa realizada foi de natureza quantitativa e qualitativa, através da aplicaçãode questionários e entrevistas (grupo focal) com o objetivo de identificar a situação de educação e de trabalho dessesjovens. Os resultados indicam a necessidade de políticas públicas para a juventude que sinalizem a emergência de serepensar propostas de educação e trabalho que atendam as condições juvenis, em conseqüência da incerteza que hojerodeia o mercado de trabalho.
其他摘要：The dilemmas of youth nowadays are presented not only in a new and challenging way, but theyconstitute a complex and serious problem of crisis of youth work in Brazil. This study was conducted with younghigh school students in a coastal city in the interior of Santa Catarina. The strategies that young people use in therelation “work, education and family”, in a new ethic of work in contemporary society, was the central issue. Aquantitative and qualitative survey was conducted through the use of questionnaires and interviews (focus group) inorder to identify the situation of education and work of these young people. The results indicate the need for publicpolicies for youth showing the emergency to rethink proposals for education and working conditions that meet theyouth as a result of the uncertainty that now surrounds the labour market.
