摘要：En este artículo se presenta un análisis de la construcción de los conceptos organización comunitaria y delincuencia de tres líderes comunitarios que participaron en el desarrollo de una forma de prevención del delito llamada "PatrullaVecinal", en el barrioVillaVenecia de Maracaibo. Se utilizó el enfoque semántico-pragmático del análisis del discurso. Se obtuvo como resultados que: A) el propósito central del discurso es contar cómo la comunidad se organizó para enfrentar los actos delictivos de su barriada, legitimando la forma de tomar justicia con sus propias manos para el resguardo de sus bienes y de la vida de sus familiares. B) En el discurso destaca el uso de las estrategias discursivas de victimización, solidaridad y acercamiento, reserva y encubrimiento. C) La finalidad del discurso es hacer saber y hacer pensar al receptor. Se concluyó que en las estrategias y los recursos lingüísticos utilizados por los entrevistados destacan las funciones y mecanismos de legitimación del "yo-nosotros" (Patrulla Vecinal) y de deslegitimación del "otro" (rol de los cuerpos policiales) como vía para justificar las acciones realizadas contra la delincuencia durante las rondas nocturnas.
其他摘要：This article presents an analysis of the construction of the concepts community organization and delinquency by three community leaders who participate in the development of a form of crime prevention called "the neighborhood patrol," in Villa Venecia, Maracaibo. The semanticpragmatic approach to discourse analysis was used. Results obtained were that: A) the central purpose of discourse is to tell how the community organized itself to confront criminal acts in its neighborhood, legitimizing the method of taking justice into their own hands to safeguard their property and the lives of their families. B) In the discourse, the use of discursive strategies of victimization, solidarity and coming closer, reserve and cover-up stand out. C) The purpose of the discourse is to make the receiver know and think. Conclusions were that among the linguistic strategies and resources utilized by those interviewed, the legitimizing functions and mechanisms of "I-we" (neighborhood patrol) and the de-legitimization of the "other" (role of the police forces) stand out as ways to justify the actions taken against delinquency during the night hours.
