摘要：El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las representaciones de la tecnología bélica en mensajes publicados por el diario El Nacional (marzo del 2003). La metodología aplicada está fundamentada en el análisis crítico del discurso (ACD), bajo los enfoques de Norman Fairclough y los aportes de Teum Van Dijk. Las conclusiones son: El Nacional, periódico venezolano, tomó partido a favor de la guerra de Irak y de las acciones desplegadas por Estados Unidos y los aliados. En los procesos de recontextualización de mensajes se identificaron numerosas estrategias que legitiman, naturalizan y justifican el uso de estas tecnologías y de la guerra.
其他摘要：The objective is to analyze the representation of war technology in messages published by the newspaper El Nacional (March, 2003). Methodology is based on critical discourse analysis (CDA) using the approaches of Norman Fairclough and contributions by Teum van Dijk. Conclusions are: El Nacional, aVenezuelan newspaper, took sides in favor of the Iraq war and the actions displayed by the United States and its allies. In the processes of re-contextualizing messages, numerous linguistic-discursive and pragmatic strategies were identified that legitimate, naturalize and justify the use of these technologies and the war.
