摘要：O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em discutir teoricamente sobre a morte do autor articulando suas implicações no comportamento de um grupo de pessoas. Numa perspectiva estruturalista, propomos que o caráter caleidoscópico do texto, sua potencialidade em abrir mundos e criar significados múltiplos é uma boa resposta para o fenômeno de engajamento pentecostal em movimentos sociais. Em nosso trabalho, priorizamos os pentecostais envolvidos ou participantes de assentamentos rurais, destinados à reforma agrária. O texto, portanto, contribui, ora para manutenção da filiação religiosa institucional; noutro momento favorece a des-institucionalização do individuo. Destacamos alguns trabalhos que apontam esse fenômeno, mas que, entretanto, destacam a potencialidade do individuo em migrar de um espaço a outro, de acordo com suas necessidades, se re-apropriando e re-significando os signos. Nossa proposta segue na contramão dessa reflexão, apesar de que sustentamos a existência do sujeito em solicitar demandas ao texto.
其他摘要：The aim of this work is a theoretical discussion about the death of the author articulating its implications on the behavior of a group of people. From a structuralist perspective, we propose that the kaleidoscopic character of the text, its potential to open worlds and create multiple meanings is a good answer to the phenomenon of Pentecostal involvement in social movements. In our work, the pentecostals involved are prioritize or the ones participating in rural settlements, destined for the agrarian reform. The text, therefore, contributes for the maintenance of either the religiously affiliated institution, in another moment favors the deinstitutionalisation of the individual. We featured some studies that show this phenomenon, but which, however, feature the potential of the individual in moving from one space to another, according to their needs, reappropriating and resignifying the signs. Our proposal goes in the opposite way from this reflection, although we support the existence of the individual requesting demands to the text.
