摘要：Este artigo objetiva discutir representações de urbanidade rural, território e sustentabilidade no contexto de relações estabelecidas entre a sociedade indígena e a não-indígena, ou entre diferentes grupos étnicos que habitam o Distrito de Iauaretê, situado na Terra Indígena do Alto Rio Negro, no noroeste amazônico. Objetiva também discutir as relações dos moradores desta localidade com o ambiente por eles ocupado.
其他摘要：This article discusses representations of rural urbanity, territory and sustainability in the context of established relations among the indigenous and the non-indigenous society, or among different ethnic groups that inhabit the Iauaretê District, located at the Upper Rio Negro, North-western Amazon. It also talks about the relationship between the inhabitants and their environment.
