摘要：Se presenta una síntesis de las investigaciones arqueológicas conducidas en la localidad de Combarbalá (Provincia de Limarí) al interior del Norte Semiárido de Chile. Se exponen trabajos espaciales y estratigráficos conducidos en la región, los métodos implementados y resultados obtenidos. Se hace alusión a las características principales de la zona y su estructura de recursos a fin de ilustrar algunos factores que podrían haber condicionado el asentamiento humano. Los estudios arqueológicos realizados a la fecha han expuesto contextos que permiten efectuar una propuesta ordenadora relativa que se remonta, al menos, a todo el Holoceno.
其他摘要：We synthesize archaeological research at Combarbalá (Limarí Province), an inland locality in the Semiarid North of Chile. We describe the spatial and stratigraphic work conducted within the region, the methods used and the results obtained. The main characteristics and resource structure of the study area are outlined in order to illustrate some factors that may have conditioned human settlement. Archaeological research carried out up to now has exposed contexts which allow a schematic proposal which extends at least throughout the Holocene.
