摘要：O estudo apresenta a avaliação inicial das propriedades psicométricas da Escala de Padrões de Posse - EPP, um instrumento de auto-relato, desenvolvido para medir posse. A posse é concebida como padrões de comportamento de conquista e/ou de manutenção de figuras de posse: pessoas, animais, coisas, lugares e bens em geral. Sua função é a de regular a provisão de bens para usufruto do indivíduo e/ou da sua prole e a preservação da espécie. Participantes foram 296 universitários (140 homens e 156 mulheres). Foram desenvolvidos itens para avaliar quatro padrões de posse - segura, ansiosa, ciumenta e reativa -, e dois de “não-posse” - desprendimento da posse e invejoso. Os resultados indicaram estabilidade temporal aceitável para alguns padrões e consistência interna satisfatória. O estudo da estrutura fatorial sugeriu que a posse é mais bem representada pelas dimensões: Segurança da Posse de Pessoas e Segurança da Posse de Coisas.
其他摘要：The study presents an initial evaluation of the psychometrics properties of the Escala de Padrões de Posse-EPP (Ownership Patterns Scale), a self-report instrument, designed to measure ownership. Ownership is conceived as behavior patterns of conquering and/or maintenance of an ownership figure: people, pets, things, places, and goods in general. Its function is the regulation of provision of goods to the usufruct of the individual and his or her offspring , as well as, to preserve the species. Participants were 296 undergraduate (140 male and 156 female). Items were developed to assess four patterns of ownership - secure, anxious, jealous and reactive ownership -, and two patterns of “non-ownership” - detachment and envious. Results pointed to acceptable temporal stability for some patterns and satisfactory internal consistence. A factorial structure study suggested that ownership is better represented by the following dimensions: Security of Ownership of People and Security of Ownership of Things.
