摘要：Esta investigación propone describir los enfoques más representativos del fenómeno del liderazgo y que han tenido gran repercusión en la literatura científica. Para lograr este objetivo, la revisión se ha centrado en las principales publicaciones de revistas indexadas en la base de datos ISI Journal Citation Reports (entre los años 1924-2005) y comprende los de mayor impacto como el Leadership Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly. Aunque selectiva, la búsqueda incluye publicaciones que contribuyen a comprender el desarrollo de este constructo. Los resultados de este análisis evidencian que a pesar de la divergencia de los enfoques, es posible encontrar algunas características comunes entre ellos. Se concluye que el liderazgo, por ser un fenómeno complejo de analizar, puede ser abordado desde una perspectiva integradora, superando la tendencia fragmentadora de las diferentes líneas investigativas que han estudiado esta temática.
其他摘要：This research proposes to describe the most representative approaches to the phenomenon of leadership, which have had a great impact on scientific literature. To accomplish this objective, the review has focused on the principle publications of indexed journals in the database ISI Journal Citation Reports (between 1924-2005) and includes those of greatest impact, such as Leadership Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly. Although it is selective, the search includes publications that contribute to understanding the development of this construct. Results of this analysis show that, despite the divergence of these approaches, it is possible to find some common characteristics among them. Conclusions are that, since leadership is a complex phenomenon to analyze, it can be approached from an integrating perspective, overcoming the fragmenting tendency of the different research lines that have studied this theme.
