摘要：El artículo presenta un estudio realizadoa partir de los dibujos de dos grupos de niños de secundaria (12 a 15 años de edad).2 El grupo urbano tiene acceso a todos los medios masivos de comunicación y el grupo indígena, principalmente oral, a la radio. Los dibujos se realizaron sobre una lectura común. La autora compara ambas expresiones gráficas y considera que los dibujos, como cualquier otra producción discursiva, refleja una puesta al día de un género compartido culturalmente. Desde una reflexión cultural-discursiva,se apropia principalmente de las propuestas teóricas de Bajtin (1985). Los resultados muestran una interpretación icónica del código cultural que en su entorno se construye.
其他摘要：This study examines the relation between the communicative context and the formal characteristics of the drawings in two groups of junior high-school students (12 to 15 years old). The research was done with a group of indigenous youth from Mexico and a group of urban Mexican youth. Both groups were asked to draw from the same short story. This article focuses on how the adolescents not only represent what they read, but also reflect howtheir cultural and communicative context shape the way they interpret, construct and represent the world. The children showed that their cultural knowledge and media context were intertwined in their visual productions.
