摘要：En este trabajo, basado en los planteamientos teóricos y en lasherramientasque brinda el análisis crítico del discurso, me propongomostrar y explicar cómo el presidente venezolano Hugo Chávez emplea lafigura de Simón Bolívar, su pensamiento y acción, como estrategia para propiciary afianzar la división entre los venezolanos, en dos grupos altamente polarizados:los afectos a su gobierno y sus opositores. La investigación pone en evidenciaque el empleo constante y reiterado de la figura de Bolívar en el discurso deChávez cumple una doble función estratégica. Por una parte, es un recursoeminentemente legitimador de las políticas del presidente y de sus accionesde gobierno y, en contrapartida, deslegitimador de sus adversarios. Porotra parte, esta estrategia le ha permitido a dicho actor social cohesionarideológicamente a sus seguidores en función de su proyecto políticorevolucionario bolivariano
其他摘要：In this paper I intend to show, with the tools offered by CriticalDiscourse Analysis, how the Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez uses the figureof Simon Bolivar, his thinking and action, as a strategy to deepen the divisionamong Venezuelans into two highly polarized groups: those who support theAdministration and those who oppose it. The research evidences that the constantand repetitive mention of Bolivar in Chavez´ discourse fulfils a double function.On the one hand, it serves as a resource to legitimize the President´s policiesand his Administration´s activities and, at the same time, to delegitimize hisadversaries. On the other hand, this strategy has enabled the President toregroup his followers in the ideological pursuit of his political project: theBolivarian revolution
