其他摘要:Las Moras, county of Mexquitic, is a rural community of Tlaxcaltecan origin located on the high plateau at the Mexican state of San Luis Potosi, in the south of the Chihuahua desert. Intensive agricultural activities and an ancestral link with the land are distinctive traits of this community. Identity and religiousness as concepts that explain and give meaning to human actions, are made present through the participation and the sense that people imprint to the celebration and the ritual. Celebration and rituals, as reproducers of symbols and meanings, rationalize the actions of the members of this human group, institutionalizing and justifying their communityÕs existence and identity.
