摘要：Se pretende una aproximación al conocimiento de las actividades que se realizan en la escuela como parte de la cultura escrita, conscientes de la necesidad de conocer si la escuela está ofreciendo a los alumnos, desde muy temprano, la posibilidad de participar en prácticas sociales de lectura y escritura, a fin de desarrollar su autonomía, para que puedan formar, efectivamente, parte de la cultura letrada. El trabajo se llevó a cabo en tres centros educativos, en los cuales se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y conversaciones con los sujetos seleccionados. Del análisis de los resultados obtenidos se deriva que las prácticas de lectura de estos alumnos son escasas y carentes de sentido social, lo que impide que la lectura contribuya a reducir la brecha entre los más y los menos favorecidos
其他摘要：This work shows the results of a qualitative study about the reading practices of students on the first stage of Basic Education, aiming to reach the knowledge of activities that are performed at school as part of written culture. We are aware of the need of knowing if schools are offering students, from an early stage, the possibility of participating in social reading and writing practices aiming to effectively develop part of the literate culture. The study was done in three educational centers, where semi-structured interviews and conversations with the selected subjects were done. From the analysis of the results obtained we find that the reading practice of the students are scarce and lack social sense, which prevents that reading contributes reducing the gap between the most and the least favored
