摘要：El papel de la precipitación como elemento que define las condiciones climáticas de un área cualquiera es incuestionable. Los datos de precipitación obtenidos por instrumentos requieren, sin embargo, tratamientos específicos a objetos de hacerlos más confiables. Diversas técnicas se han desarrollado a través del tiempo para procesar esta variable climática. En este trabajo una revisión exhaustiva permite sugerir que la geoestadistica, basada en plataformas computacionales como los SIG, es una buena alternativa para los estudios de la precipitación y su comportamiento.
其他摘要：The roll of the precipitation as an element that defines the climatic conditions of an area is unquestionable. Nevertheless, the data of precipitation collected by instruments require specific treatments in order to make them more reliable. Diverse techniques have been developed through the time to process this climatic variable.
