摘要：Las invasiones que han afectado al sistema de reservas forestales del país motivan este trabajo. En este sentido se diseñaron y aplicaron instrumentos para la caracterización socioeconómica de la comunidad Vista Hermosa y se procesó información biofísica en formato digital, utilizando plataforma SIG. Se determinó que hay 54 familias ocupantes, con una población joven. Viven en casas con diseño propio, la mayoría con 10 a 15 años de ocupación, en unidades de producción agrícola con superficies inferiores a las 40 has, que en general constituye su principal fuente de ingresos. Todavía se presentan algunas superficies con plantaciones forestales, su explotación no constituye la fuente principal de ingresos. In this sense instruments for the socioeconomic characterization of the community Vista Hermosa were designed and applied. Bio-physic information was processed in digital format, using GIS platform. It was found that there are 54 families occupants, with a young population who live in houses with own design, the majority with 10 to 15 years of occupation, in units of agricultural production with surfaces smaller than 40 has, that in general constitutes the main source of income. Still some surfaces with forest plantations appear, however, their use does not constitute the main source of income.
