摘要：Venezuela, entre fines de 2001 y agosto de 2004, ha vivido tiempos convulsionados. La lucha hegemónica que se libra entre actores sociopolíticos ubicados en dos polos de la sociedad que se perciben como excluyentes pasó por una fase «insurreccional» cuyo resultado ha favorecido al gobierno y sus fuerzas. En este artículo se reconstruyen y analizan los hechos más destacados para contribuir con una evaluación de la situación actual de la lucha hegemónica. En la primera parte se presentan elementos contextuales del conflicto venezolano. La segunda reconstruye y analiza el golpe de Estado del 11 de abril. La tercera parte examina factores que llevaron al paro general y de la industria petrolera, así como los resultados de éste. La cuarta describe y analiza el proceso sociopolítico de los meses siguientes, que desembocó en la estrategia del referendo revocatorio presidencial por parte de la oposición. La parte última revisa el proceso del revocatorio.
其他摘要：Venezuela between the final months of 2001 and August 2004 underwent convulsive times. The hegemonic struggle taking place between sociopolitical actors localized in two poles of society entered an «insurrectional phase» resulting favorable to the government and its alliances. In this article the most relevant political issues that took place during these months are reconstructed and analyzed in order to contribute to an evaluation of the hegemonic struggle at present. Section 1 presents national and international contextual elements. Section 2 reconstructs and analyzes the April Coup dÈtat. Section 3 follows the process that results in a general and oil stoppage; the 4th section revises the months after the failure of the strike that will result in the oppositions new strategy of the presidential recall. Section 5 examines the recall process.
