摘要：El concepto de servicios ecosistémicos permite analizar el vínculo que existe entre el funcionamiento de los ecosistemas y el bienestar humano. En este artículo revisamos las definiciones de dichos servicios, su desarrollo histórico, y hacemos una reseña de los principales tipos de acercamientos a su estudio.

In this paper we review the definitions of ecosystem services, its historical development, and present an overview of the major type of approaches to the study of ecosystem services found at present in the literature.
