摘要：A inicios del presente siglo Cuba se reafirma como país de emigración, con tendencias que la ubican dentro del contexto general de los flujos migratorios internacionales y en particular del área del Caribe y Latinoamérica. Tales son los casos del principal país receptor de los emigrantes cubanos, Estados Unidos, los flujos de emigración legal, la manifestación de emigración indocumentada, la feminización de la migración y las corrientes de migrantes calificados. Se presenta la tendencia de una migración laboral, el desarrollo de redes sociales y ciertos procesos de relaciones transnacionales. El trabajo aborda estos elementos y adelanta las posibles tendencias de la migración externa de Cuba para los próximos años.
其他摘要：At the beginning of the present century Cuba reassures it self as an emigration country, with trends that places it in the general context of international migration flows and more specifically at those in the Caribbean and Latin America. Such is the case of the most important receiving country of Cuban immigrants, the United States of America, the flow of legal migration, undocumented migrants, feminization of migration and qualified migration. The further development of labour migration, as the principal and most important trend, and the increase of social networks as well as the confirmation of certain processes of transnational relations. The present paper explains the above referred issues and anticipates possible trend of Cuba is external migration for the following years.
