摘要：A través del rescate de fuentes documentales y testimonios de época se pretende un acercamiento a los aspectos disciplinarios y punitivos en el ámbito de la educación secundaria masculina chilena de la segunda parte del siglo XIX. El propósito central es hacer visible el proceso de imposición de una cultura escolar determinada a los jóvenes estudiantes mediante su control conductual.
