摘要：Se defiende que la Constitución Bolivariana de Venezuela lleva a cabo una síntesis propia de dos importantes tradiciones de la Filosofía Política, a saber, el liberalismo y el republicanismo, lo que se refleja claramente en la regulación que hace tanto de los valores superiores de la libertad y la igualdad como en el reconocimiento y protección de los principales Derechos Humanos.
其他摘要：In this paper we plan to defend that every current constitution represents a composition of liberal and republican elements, even though evidently, constitutions can be more or less liberal and more or less republican. As an example, we defend that the planned 2004 European Constitution is more liberal than the 1999 Venezuelan Bolivarian Constitution. This last one has more republican elements. All current constitutions have broad convergence points regarding values as well. Accepted universal values such as democracy, Welfare Sate or human rights respect are shown in them. But not all of them show these values equally, nor they emphasize some more than others. This is how we will defend that the stopped European Constitution is more liberal, more capitalist, and more owned than what is derogatorily known as merchants Europe.
