摘要：El objetivo del presente documento es analizar las condiciones actuales del empleo en México, así como vincularlas con su calidad (salarios reales), productividad y comercio exterior; ¿cuáles han sido los patrones de especialización en el comercio exterior y la productividad de la economía mexicana y el sector manufacturero y sus ramas según su generación de empleo? Este análisis se realiza tanto a nivel agregado, para la economía en su conjunto y el sector manufacturero, y desagregado a nivel de las Grandes Divi-siones y ramas de la economía mexicana, con el objeto de puntualizar tendencias de la economía mexicana con respecto a los temas mencionados. En base a lo anterior se hace una revisión bibliográfica sobre el tema, se analiza la estrategia de desarrollo se-guida desde 1988 y presenta las principales tendencias del empleo, a nivel agregado y de ramas. Destaca, entre otro de los resultados, la fragilidad de las actividades genera-doras de empleo durante 1988-2000, caracterizadas por una dinámica en los salarios reales inferior al resto de la economía y una productividad negativa.
其他摘要：The aim of the present study is to analyse the actual employment conditions in Mexico and to relate them to their quality (real salary), productivity and foreign trade, by questioning which have been the specialisation patterns of foreign trade and the productivity of the Mexican economy as well as the manufacturing industry and its branches following its generation of employment? This analysis will take place at both an aggregate level for the economy as a whole and the manufacturing industry, as well as at the disintegrated level of the Great Divisions and the branches of the Mexican economy in order to determine the tendencies in the Mexican economy in relation to the previously mentioned points. Based on the aforementioned points, a bibliographic revision on this topic will be provided as well as an analysis of the developmental strategy that was followed since 1988. The main tendencies of employment will be presented at both an aggregate level as well as at the level of branches. Amongst the results the following stands out: the fragility of the activities that created employment during the 1988 - 2000 period, which was characterised by a dynamics in real salaries that was inferior to the rest of the economy and a negative productivity.
