摘要：El presente trabajo articula dos líneas de investigación en las que venimos trabajando hace ya varios años. Por un lado, profundiza ciertos aspectos nucleares de las representaciones sociales acerca de la vejez y el envejecimiento en nuestro país, que hemos abordado en investigaciones previas. Además, últimamente, han sido motivo de nuevas indagaciones la temática de la cognición y el pensamiento en la vejez. En la confluencia de estos temas que han concitado nuestro interés, hemos decidido indagar acerca de las representaciones sociales en torno a distintos aspectos de la cognición: memoria, atención, capacidad de aprender, etc., en la vejez. Con este objetivo, hemos venido trabajando últimamente el concepto de campo representacional para dar cuenta de la naturaleza heterogénea, y aun antagónica, de creencias que hemos hallado en el campo empírico.
其他摘要：This paper links two lines of research in which we have been working for a long time. On the one hand we analyzes in depth some central aspects of old age and ageing in Argentina which we have tackled in previous investigations. Besides, recently, cognition in old age has acquired the status of a new object of study. At the meeting point of these topics we decided to inquire into the social representations of different aspects of cognition in old age: memory, attention, learning capacity, etc. With this objective we have been working recently on the concept of representational field in order to explain the heterogeneous and, even more, antagonistic nature of beliefs that we have found in the empiric field.
