摘要：Esta pesquisa realiza o levantamento da produção cientifica relativa ao Brincar e a Saúde de 1998 a 2007 em produção acadêmica da USP, PUC e UMESP, do Estado de São Paulo, assim como os artigos publicados relativos aotema, nesse período. Os dados revelam um total de 180 estudos acadêmicos sobre o Brincar em geral, sendo 68,8% da USP, 21,2% da PUC e 10% da UMESP. Desse total, foram identificadas 49 produções sobre o Brincar e a Saúde, das quais 46,9% da USP; 32,7% da PUC e 20,4% da UMESP. No período enfocado foi verificada a publicação de 25 artigos sobre o Brincar em geral e apenas seis com o foco em Brincar e Saúde. Os resultados evidenciam uma trajetória histórica ascendente tanto na elaboração de estudos sobre o Brincar e a Saúde, comoem sua publicação, mas põem à mostra um grande descompasso entre a produção acadêmica e sua publicação.
其他摘要：This research conducts a survey of the scientific production related to Playing and Health, from 1998 to 2007, in the academic production of USP, PUC and Methodist Universities, in the state of São Paulo, as well as the articlespublished related to the subject during this period of time. The data present a total of 180 academic studies about Playing in general: 68.8% from USP, 21.2% from PUC and 10% from Methodist. From this total, 49 productions were about Playing and Health: 46.9% from USP, 32.7% from PUC and 20.4% from Methodist. During the period of time in focus, 25 articles about Playing in general were published, but only six with the subject of Playing and Health. The Results evidence an upward historical trend in the development of studies on Playing and Health as well as in their publication, but also reveal a large gap between the academic production and its publication.
