摘要：Esta pesquisa, de caráter exploratório descritivo, investiga o apoio dado à família da criança hospitalizada, via lúdico, em unidades de saúde e hospital com brinquedotecas existentes em um município de grande porte, junto às redes públicas e privadas. Inicialmente, busca fazer um levantamento dos hospitais, nos dois setores, que possuem brinquedotecas. Extrai a seguir, amostra por conveniência das redes enfocadas, descreve e analisa as atividades lúdicas realizadas com foco no suporte à família, por meio de observação, segundo Inventário Cumulativo de Estimulação Ambiental e entrevista aos coordenadores das brinquedotecas. Os dados gerais na área pública da saúde revelam um total de 56 brinquedotecas ativas nos hospitais, distribuídas nas diversas regiões municipais, voltadas para dar suporte a crianças/adolescentes e a suas famílias, nos setores primário, secundário e terciário de atendimento. Na esfera particular não foi possível realizar o levantamento, por falta de registros disponíveis. Os hospitais selecionados por conveniência, evidenciam intenso reconhecimento do valor do brincar e da brinquedoteca como apoio à família da criança hospitalizada.
其他摘要：This research, of exploratory descriptive nature, investigates the support given to the families of hospitalized children through play in a large city, in public and private institutions. Initially, a survey is performed in health units of both sectors, identifying those with toy libraries. Then, a sample by convenience of the focused institutions is extracted, the ludic activities are analyzed and described, with focus on family support, through observation according to the Cumulative Inventory of Environmental Stimulation, and the toy libraries coordinators are interviewed. General data of the health public area reveal a total of 56 active toy libraries, distributed in different regions, aimed to support children / adolescents and their families, in primary, secondary and tertiary care sectors. In the private sphere, surveying was not possible because of the lack of available updated records. The hospitals selected by convenience, both large, evidenced great appreciation of the value of play and the toy library in supporting the families of hospitalized children.
