摘要：Con ocasión del bicentenario de la expedición americana de Humboldt se generó un auge de estudios acerca de la ?nueva imagen? de América Latina. Este artículo discute algunas presunciones acerca del legado homboldtiano para Sudamérica, para las Pampas en particular, ampliando las fuentes literarias tradicionales con documentos sobre sobrevivencia, mapas, iconografía pictórica y fotográfica, representaciones científicas y técnicas; materiales todos correspondientes a la segunda mitad del siglo XIX.
其他摘要：In ocasion of the bicentennial of the american voyage of Humboldt, there has been an increase of studies about the "new image" of Latinamerica. This article discusses some presumptions about the humboldtian legacy for South America, for the pampas in particular, amplyfying the traditional literary sources with documents about mapping and surveying, pictorial and photographical iconography, scientific and technic representations, in the second half of the nineteenth century.
