摘要：Este artículo presenta el an álisis del protocolo de acceso DOCSIS (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) en el canal de retorno de la red Hibrida Fibra Coaxial (HFC, Hybr id Fiber Coaxial) par a la distr ibución de aplicaciones y con tenidos edu ca tivos en el con texto d e la televisión digita l inter activa (TDi). En este análisis, se tuvo en cuenta varios escenar ios de pr ueba que per mitier on evaluar los par ámetr os de configur ación del pr otocolo DOCSIS bajo difer entes condiciones. Par a ello, fue necesario capturar y caracterizar el tráfico real generado por las aplicaciones inter activas par a luego constr uir los modelos de simu la ción que las representan. Como resultado de las simulaciones se pudo determinar los par ámetros más adecuados para soportar aplicaciones con la calidad de servicio requerida en el contexto d el Tlear ning y el mejor aprovecha miento d e los r ecur sos. Siendo estos la contr ibución más r elevante de este artículo.
其他摘要：This article presents the analysis of the Data Over Cable Service Inter face Specification (DOCSIS) access protocol in the return channel of the Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) network for distribution of educational applications and contents in the context of interactive Digital Television (iTV). In this paper, several test scenarios was taken into account allowing to evaluate configuration parameter from DOCSIS protocol on different conditions. For this, the r eal gener ated tr affic b y interactive applications were caught and characterized, after that, some simulation models were developed . As result of the simulations, the most adequate par ameter s were determinate in order to suppor t application with requir ed quality of ser vice in the Tlearning context and the best resource use. Being them, the most relevant contribution of this paper.
