摘要：La situación de rezago de pequeños productores agrícolas obliga a buscar cultivos agrícolas alternativos que sean más redituables. Debido a lo anterior se evaluó la rentabilidad económica de la producción de jitomate silvestre (Solanum lycopersicum L.) orgánico en cubiertas plásticas de bajo costo, para obtener calidad y cantidad del producto, preservando el ambiente y obteniendo beneficios económicos y sociales. El proyecto productivo se llevó acabó en el municipio de Teziutlán, Puebla en una superficie de 100 m2, obteniendo 1,299 kg por ciclo y en promedio 2,595 kg anuales; fue con pequeños productores en traspatio, ya que el jitomate silvestre se comercializa a nivel regional, y el costo de este por lo general se mantiene en $18.00 por kilogramo siendo el precio más estable y más alto que el jitomate convencional. En el análisis financiero realizado se obtuvieron los siguientes indicadores: Valor Actual Neto $60,452.99, Relación Beneficio-Costo $1.79, Tasa Interna de Retorno 19.03% por lo que se concluye que el proyecto es viable.

Because of this we assessed the economic viability of the production of wild tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) organic plastic covers low cost, quality and quantity for the product, preserving the environment and achieving economic and social benefits. The project was finished in productive Township Teziutlán, Puebla in an area of 100 m2, obtaining 1299 kg per cycle on average 2595 kg per year, the project was to small backyard producers, as the wild tomato is traded regional, and the cost of this usually remains at $ 18.00 per kilogram price being more stable and higher than conventional tomatoes. In the financial analysis yielded the following indicators: Net Present Value $ 60,452.99, benefit-cost $ 1.79, IRR 19.03% so it is concluded that the project is viable.
