摘要：Se estudia el concepto y la práctica con innovaciones tecnológicas desarrolladas por estudiantes universitarios de diversas áreas biológicas de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. Participaron 322 estudiantes que cursaban la fase terminal de las licenciaturas (tres últimos trimestres). Los resultados muestran una idea poco clara y diversa sobre el concepto de innovación tecnológica y respecto a la práctica, ésta no se percibe como parte del diseño curricular, aunque algunos profesores trabajan la temática con sus alumnos, pero por un interés personal e individual. Se presentan también otros datos relevantes que aportó el estudio (textos de apoyo, equipo y aparatos utilizados, relación del conocimiento sobre innovación con el logro de un empleo, México como país generador de innovaciones tecnológicas)
其他摘要：The concept and use of technological innovations among college students of biological sciences is studied. 322 seniors students at Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana were surveyed. They were asked about the concept of technological innovations and its use in educational context. The data shows that there is not a well defined conceptual framework. Regarding the practice, this is not perceived like part of the curricular design, although some professors work the thematic one with the students, but with and interest rather of personal choice. In this paper is also included other relevant data about what are the materials, text books and equipment that the students use in their professional training. Moreover the relation between knowledge of technological innovations and employment achievements is report. Also it is included the perception that the students have about Mexico as a country leader in technological innovations
